About

My name is Garrett, and Nordmann Sauna grew out of a very personal relationship with sauna and cold immersion. As parents to four kids, my wife and I take a holistic approach to wellness in every part of life. Over time, I became deeply drawn to sauna and cold immersion—not just for how it makes me feel in the moment, but for the long-term benefits it brings to both body and mind.

I lived in Norway for a period of my life, and it completely reshaped how I think about health, wellness, and daily rhythm. Sauna there isn’t a luxury or a trend—it’s simply part of life. A place to slow down, warm up, reflect, and reset. Cold plunging is the same way. It’s not about extremes or performance, but about presence and resilience.

That way of living stuck with me.

With Scandinavian heritage and a deep love for sauna culture, I found myself wanting to bring that experience home—and eventually, to share it. Not the watered-down versions you often see, but authentic Nordic saunas built the way they’ve been built for generations, where heat, airflow, materials, and intention all work together.

Nordmann Sauna exists because I want people here in Utah to have access to that same experience. To step outside, feel the heat, breathe deeply, cool off, and walk back inside more grounded than when they left. To have a space at home that supports physical health, mental clarity, and a more mindful way of living.

Everything we build is guided by a few simple principles: keeping sauna at home, staying authentically Nordic, approaching wellness mindfully, and creating spaces that truly unlock long-term wellness potential.

This isn’t about chasing trends or selling a product. It’s about sharing something meaningful - something that has shaped my own life - and building it well enough that it can shape yours too.
